Shoot To Win!

Posted by: Curtis Westcott on Wed Jan 11th 2017 11:19am

Coach Dave has made it to the semi-finals in the Shoot to Win Competition. Based on what we saw last night – the competition is still and he is going to need to practice practice practice if he wants to get to the finals on Sunday!

Semi’s take place on Thursday night – please let me know if you need tickets by the end of the day Wednesday – We would love to see a few more faces out to cheer him on in this second to last round! If you could let me know if you cannot make it as well – that would be appreciated so that I don’t keep bugging folks!

Thanks so much!

Odds and ends - Hometown Hockey and Shoot to Win

Posted by: Curtis Westcott on Tue Nov 22nd 2016 11:26am

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Attached is the team photo that I took on Sunday after the silver medals were handed out. Congratulations on a job well done to everyone, kids and adults alike!

Saturday night is the next round of Shoot to Win. I need to know who will require tickets for the game – please note, they have told us that players need to arrive by 7 PM in order to get in free – they expect a large crowd! (don’t be nervous Dave but all of our hopes and dreams rest on your shoulders). I am asking that each family reply if you will be attending and how many tickets you require so you can get the discounted prices. I need to send in our numbers by Friday so I am asking for responses back by Thursday evening so we can coordinate.

Also – good news, the Tier 1 Novice teams have been asked to participate in Rogers Hometown Hockey in an office segment at approximately 12:30 PM on Sunday at the Mac. Kids will need to have their Jerseys on. I do not have any additional information than this and will forward it when I get it. I know that this is the reconciliation retreat for some of the kids (Brody has it) so some may not be able to attend. I need to have numbers on this, so perhaps you can all get back to me on availability for your child’s participation.
