Beyond a Reasonable Doubt

Down by one goal going into the 3rd period, sweat dripping from the brow of the Men With Wood, they quickly obtain a goal to tie the game at 5-5. Four minutes later Reasonable Doubt puts another one past Bowser to put them in the lead. They can now taste the victory as they try to take time off the clock by skating the puck around, but the Men With Wood will not give up. With a minute and a half left Men With Wood pull their goalie, it's a hard scramble in front of the net, Mike Youngblood picks up the puck and flawlessly skates around their defenses. A tape to tape pass to Matt Kish with 34 seconds remaining in regulation proves to be Reasonable Doubt's worst nightmare as Matt buries the game tying goal. With Bowser back in net, the Men With Wood have nothing to fear (except for a shootout) they quickly go back to work and crash the net. With all the commotion going on in front of Reasonable Doubt's goalie, all you see is ice flying, everyone has their wood out slapping at each other and the puck. With one second left in the game the puck drops in front of Steve Krause who puts it in the back of the net for the game winning goal. Great Job Guys, on to the playoffs.
Men With Wood neuters the Ice Cats

With less than a minute in regulation the Ice Cats were clinching hard trying not to let the Men With Wood in. As the puck went deep in Ice Cats territory, Jeff Morris slides in between their defenses and picks up the puck off the boards. Deciding not to be gang raped by the three opposing players coming at him he goes around the net and wraps it deep for the game winning goal. The Men With Wood cheer and throw their gear in the air as though they all got the same orgasm. A round of beers is in order after that close game.
