In the final regular Summer League game before the playoff tournament next weekend both teams ,the Ducks and Team B, took to the ice with short rosters. The Ducks signed up two mighty substitute skaters, Mark "Gomer" Goymerac & Alex Kimmell, from Team A. It was another "Barn Burner" of a game with the score near even the entire game. No one was actually certain of the final score when the buzzer sounded but most guessed the game ended in a tie 11 -11. Jesse Benda was goalie for the Ducks and Tyler Stascak goalie for Team B.
STARS: * Alex Kimmell ( 5 goals, 1 assist) / ** Michaelson ( 2 goals, 2 assists) / *** Lacoursiere ( 2 goals, 5 assists.) Additional Ducks scoring: Scheer (1 goal, 3 assists): Ness ( 1 goal); Goymerac (2 assists) ;Eric Widas ( 1 assist); Picha (1 assist.)
Video Review inconclusive as some minutes of the game appear to have been skipped by the Live Barn system.
