Fish trump the Black Aces, 9-1

Posted by: Ron Brown on Sat Nov 10th 2012 9:50pm

Stripers roll in a sloppy but effective 9-1 smashing of the new expansion-type rookie level Black Aces. A win is a win. 2-1 on year and the battle against the Stingers is on. Matt looks great, we might give up less goals than last season, under 2.00/gm in fact, and we might hit 15 wins, surpassing last season's high of 14.

Jesse had the first two goals, and the rout was on. They stunk and we need to play like that against all the teams.

See y'all next game.

Thanks for Another Great Season!

...we lost, the season ended, and we are moving on.

Hope to see all of you this Winter!

Go Fish!

Upperdeckers Flush Fish 5-3. Win Championship.

We lost in a hard fought battle. Kudos to all. 14-4..Good year...again. Puts us at 73-83-6 alltime..but 0-3 in Finals!

Rick was superb...My vote for MVP...Jesse was point leader with 20..And Goal leader with 13...Luke was leader with assists at 11.

Rick with 4 goose-eggs. Fuckin' awesome.

We had to remember the score sheet....Please inform of any known differences on our scores....Jesse from Luke early...Luke from Jason and Keith in second...Matt from Ron early third. Jeff and I weren't real sure of first goal assist(s) or sequence on 2nd goal.

Fish take the sting out of the bumble flys 4-2, Advance!

HCHC was dominant in a 4-2 victory over the Sting-less, and now face the Shit-ringers in the "Lower C, D league, Senior-Novice" finals.

Rick was fantastic between the pipes and everyone hustled and battled their ASSES OFF. Great play-making, teamed with a confident patience, was the recipe for success in a thrilling play-off victory.

Eventhough 3 top skaters were unavailable, the veteran-laden "Green Machine" powered their way to a great victory.

Goals by Jesse, Joe, Ron and Matt Y. sealed the deal. No penalties was key. ...many faceoffs were won, and no bitching seemed to aid in the triumph.

Two late goals by the opposition put a scare in the result, but all was well when Matt threw in the empty netter. Three goals in the waning moments of the third period made for a classic ending to a great game.

Everyone come ready to flush the UpperDeckers! Piss on 'em.

HCHC caps off regular season 13-3

Posted by: Ron Brown on Thu Sep 13th 2012 10:48pm

The Fish rolled the Crustaceans 8-3 in the regular season swan song. The Crabs had a depleted bench, but those who showed, played and skated hard, but the Green Machine was too much for them. Sub goaltender Mike let up a softy in the opening minutes, then it was on. 1-1, thanks to Jeff and Zack.....2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 5-1....I was getting dizzy from the red lite flashin'. The romp continued, and ended with Ryan scoring the club's 600th all-time goal. Ryan had 2g, 1a,.....Zack had his first mult-point game with 1g and 2 apples, Capt. Jeff had 2 goals, and Karrasch had 2 grannies.

It was our best season to date....Many goals and great goaltending. 4 Shutouts, all by Rick......Found out Andrew can skate, and found 2 top-notch, game changing D-dudes.

Plus 52 on goal differential....SO GOOD.

The Bumble Flys better be ready!
