Zombie Party started the season off with an offensive showcase! Led by Zombie Party's last season top scorer, Paul Vossler, who had 5 goals and 2 assists on the night. While Yen Le and new Zombies, Mike Quigley and Manny Krakowiak added 2 goals each on the night. The goals were made possible with the help of great passing from Damon Hayes, Albert Lee, and Mark Lemus who had a combined total of 10 assists.

Backing the high scoring Zombie Party was Kevin Tang who filled in for Andrew who was away in the Philippines. He did a great job and had almost 2 periods of shut out time before a unlucky goal got in!

All in all, it was a great game by all players, everyone contributed offensively and defensively. It was a nice way to start off the season, lets see if we can keep that going!

Game Puck : #8 Kevin Tang - for stepping up by playing goalie and coming away with a win! He had nearly 2 shut out periods going before he let in a fluke goal towards the end of the 2nd! Great Job Kevin!

Well, Well, after 2 weeks of no hockey, there will be one more week of waiting as Zombie Party was rewarded with a BYE this week. So while in the mean time here is what is going on:

League Champs:

Congrats to the Teabaggers who won the League Championship and the Pirates who were the runner ups.

New Season, New Teams:

Teams Leaving:
We wave goodbye to the Teabaggers and Pirates as they move up a Division for being the top two teams!

New Teams:
Our Division will welcome the two lowest ranking teams of the Division above us; Mad Dogs(1-9-0), Team Iceland [formerly Ahhh Snap!(3-6-1)] and two new teams, Cold Draft Picks and The Troopers

New Season, New Faces:

We would like to welcome Manny Krakowaik & Mike Quigley. Both players have many years of both Ice & Roller Hockey under their belts which includes many championships and out of state tournaments!

We would like to thank Ruben Jamies for a great season and will be sad as he will not be able to return for this season. Hopefully he will find time to be our coach behind the bench!

New Team Managers Mark Lemus & Kevin Tang will be taking over this season as Yen Le will be gone for most of the season. So contact either one if you have a question.

Thanks for a Great Season!

In the last game of the season Zombie Party had a chance to make it into the playoffs, but failed to do so in a close and hard fought 2-5 loss to the Pirates.

Zombie Party was actually controlling the game for the first half of the game, however could not get shots or goals the Pirates managed to score and the rest was history. Pirates led the whole night and Zombie Party played catch up. In the end, Pirates came out with a win and eliminated Zombie Party from the playoffs.

Game Puck : ZOMBIE PARTY FANS! - Thank you for supporting all season long. It's not easy to make those late night games and still have enough energy to cheer for us! Thank you for being there and thank you for being the best fans we could ever ask for! Thanks for a great season, we will see you next season!

Hope everyone is having a great fun and safe Memorial Weekend!

So it has come down to this, the last game of the season that will determine our future, whether or not we make the playoffs. How Dramatic.

Join us this Tuesday as your Zombie Party takes on #2 Pirates as they try to secure the last playoff spot. In order for this to happen, Zombie Party will need to either Win or Tie the Pirates and the Chiefs will need to drop their last game. As if the odds were stacked against Zombie Party already, they will be without Damon Hayes, Paul Vossler and Scott Smith. All 3 combined to have a total of 17 of Zombie Party's 31 goals.

This will not be an easy task as the Pirates play very smart hockey, just like before, it will be a match up between Experience vs Youth. In the last game, Zombie Party's Power Play was able to go 4 for 4 as they gave the Pirates a run for their money. Even at one point, Zombie Party was up 2 goals. However the Pirates' Experience took over and defeated a younger Zombie Party by a score of 6-7.

While Zombie Party's Power Play was 4 for 4, it was not the only thing that helped Zombie Party play well, it was also the crowd! So that is why it will be even more important to have you guys there! So see you there! Tuesday at 6:50p!

Coming into this game, Zombie Party knew exactly what they had to do in order to make the playoffs. They knew that they had to win or the chances of making the playoffs will become even slimmer.

In the end, Zombie Party failed to do what they set out to do against they division rivals. The Ninjas came into the game with nothing to lose, and came out with their first win of the season against Zombie Party

For most of the game Zombie Party outplayed The Ninjas in almost every aspect of the game except for goals. As the game progress The Ninjas started to build confidence with every goal and that took them to their first win.

So with this loss, the chances of Zombie Party making it into the Playoffs a lot slimmer. Next week's game becomes a MUST WIN.

Game Puck : #4 Scott Smith - For scoring a pretty sweet wrap-around goal.
